One of my biggest challenges as a family photographer is to help my clients feel comfortable enough to interact with one another in a genuine way; the way they would if I were not standing 3 feet away with a camera. Photographing repeat-clients or friends makes this process much easier. We can start from a place of trust and familiarity which allows for more sincere moments to unfold. That's exactly what happened with this session and my artist-heart was so happy with what we created.
