When their son turned one, the Turmels decided that instead of throwing a big birthday party, they wanted to have family photos taken.
My heart exploded when I heard this and I jumped at the opportunity to capture their family.
We had a slow morning together doing some of their son's favorite things : reading books, swinging, eating and taking a bath.
I'm not knocking birthday parties (I love a good party), but I deeply align with the Turmel's decision to spend their money on documenting this sweet, fleeting season.
